Poem - Origin of Insecurity by Fabiola Mayout
- The Mind: "Do you know who I am?"
- Insecurity: "No, but I'm scared. You have a dark energy."
- The Mind: "I'm somebody. I'm nobody."
- The Mind: "I'm someone. I'm no one."
- The Mind: "I'm invisible. I'm immaterial."
- The Mind: "I'm rational, you're irrational."
- The Mind: "I'm your nightmares, your insecurities."
- The Mind: "You can't see me, but you can hear me."
- The Mind: "And if you don't realize I'm here, I will be the death of you."
- The Mind: "I'm the cancer in your thoughts."
- The Mind: "I am depression. I am suicide. I am drugs."
- The Mind: "I am the voice in your head: Dream taker."
- Insecurity: "But, where is Dream maker?"
- The Mind: "The neoplasm in your thoughts produced a trophic anesthetic effect. Dream maker may never wake up."
- Insecurity: "Who let you in?"
- The Mind: "Your desire to be like someone else. Your desire to be somebody."
- The Mind: "Your desire to follow the crowd. Your desire to be invisible."
- The Mind: "Your desire to be someone else. Your desire to be nobody."
- The Mind: "Your desire to forget the fundamental you."
- The Mind: "Your inability to filter fake from real, fiction from reality."
- The Mind: "Now do you know who I am?"
- Insecurity: "Yes, the death of me."
